- Cornell Univeristy Industrial and Labor Relations Library ‐ As the most comprehensive resource of its type in North America, the Martin P. Catherwood Industrial and Labor Relations (ILR) Library supports instruction and research in nearly every aspect of the workplace. Its extensive materials are concentrated in the areas of collective bargaining, economic and social statistics, labor and employment law, labor economics, labor history, labor unions, human resources, income security, international and comparative labor relations, negotiation and conflict resolution and organizational behavior.
- Current Population Survey ‐ union membership and representation of employed wage and salary workers.
- Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service ‐ is an independent agency whose mission is to preserve and promote labor‐management peace and cooperation. The agency provides mediation and conflict resolution services to industry, government agencies and communities.
- Department of Labor: Office of Labor-Management Standards (OLMS) ‐ administers and enforces most provisions of the Labor-Management Reporting and Disclosure Act of 1959 (LMRDA). The LMRDAprimarily promotes union democracy and financial integrity in private sector labor unions through standards for union officer elections and union trusteeships and safeguards for union assets. Additionally, the LMRDA promotes labor union and labor-management transparency through reporting and disclosure requirements for labor unions and their officials, employers, labor relations consultants, and surety companies.
